S&S CYLINDER TORQUE PLATES
S&S cylinder torque plates simulate stress conditions when boring and honing cylinders. Machined from chrome-moly steel. S&S torque plates can be used in conjunction with an S&S boring fixture and a conventional boring bar, and they can be readily adapted to a Sunnen type honing machine. Kits contain a head end plate, base end plate, 4 long grade 8 socket head cap screws to hold the assembly together and to supply pressure, as well as a stop arm that keep the cylinder and plates from turning while honing. Note: Special torque plates for use with S&S pattern Big Bore cylinders are available upon Special Order.
